Working With the Best in the World

Organizations worldwide rely on Optimizory apps to run their work inside Jira.

How it works

Set it up once. Your team uses it everywhere.

Your dev closes the Jira bug. The Salesforce Case updates before your sales rep picks up the phone. No Slack message, no tab-switching, no manual update.

Auto-Push

Jira closes the work item. Salesforce knows within seconds.

When a developer updates a Jira work item, SyncBridge updates the linked Salesforce record automatically. Your sales and support teams always see the latest status, without anyone copying it over.

  • Salesforce updates within seconds of a Jira change
  • Nothing to schedule or configure on the Jira side
  • On by default; switch it off for a single linked record from the issue panel
  • Auto-Create can build the Salesforce record when a new Jira work item is filed

Bindings & mappings

Your sync. Your rules.

A binding links a Jira project to a Salesforce connection. Inside it, map work item types to Salesforce objects, choose which fields sync and in which direction, and translate values between systems. Change any of it later without rebuilding the integration.

  • Map each work item type to any Salesforce object, such as Case, Lead, Contact or Opportunity
  • Per-field direction: Jira → Salesforce, Salesforce → Jira, or bidirectional
  • Value mapping: 'In Progress' in Jira becomes 'Working' in Salesforce
  • Unmapped fields are never touched

Issue panel

Salesforce data on the Jira work item. No tab-switching.

The issue panel shows the linked Salesforce record right on the Jira work item: status, account, priority, owner and any field your admin configures.

  • Search and link a Salesforce record by name or ID
  • Push or pull on demand when you want a sync right now
  • Sync status and last-synced time on every linked record
  • Choose which Salesforce fields the panel displays per object

Why SyncBridge

An integration your security team can approve.

What customers say about our Jira apps and support on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Links Explorer

“This app is easy to view the Link relationships between Jira work items, especially the traceability report. I like this app design.”

Yong YangAtlassian Solution Consultant, Hangzhou Cloze Technology

“Sent a request in for support and it was solved within hours, great product.”

David StoddardSenior Project Manager, L3Harris
RMsis

“The Optimizory support team were superb in providing us with prompt and helpful responses to our request for support (despite the time zone difference)!”

Zayn FojdarMultidisciplinary Scrum Master, Ultra Maritime
Links Explorer

“Being able to see up and down the chain of linked tickets has helped our users keep better track of their data relationship. Being able to easily jump to related tickets that are removed by 3 layers is so helpful. The tech support is amazing, they make sure you are taken care of.”

Links Explorer

“Managing large or complex projects in Jira can be overwhelming. Links Explorer helped us to break down complex projects into several manageable chunks specially the tree view, which makes it easy to identify dependencies and potential bottlenecks, leading us to improve our efficiency and project delivery.”

Ankit NegiSoftware Engineer, Suzuki Digital Private Limited
Links Explorer

“Vendor's support works very well - colleagues were keen to debug the issue in few live sessions (despite the fact that it seemed to be instance-specific issue) and to prepare improved plugin version that is proofed from further issues of that kind. Big thanks!”

Stanisław BiałowąsLinks Explorer customer
RMsis

“This is a very great product, engaged with JIRA closely, we can track the whole life cycle from requirement input, finalized to PRD, design tasks to implement it, test cases to verify, everyone in project can get a clear picture for the current status of requirement. Another important thing is the prompt and great technical support, really appreciate their professional support knowledge and skill, a quick and direct debug way via remote session is very helpful to resolve field issues, not only for one-time, each support is prompt and great!!”

Eason WangRMsis customer
RMsis

“This is a great product. We have over 70 users registered and live requirements data is also available online (intranet) using Confluence and JIRA. Projects with several thousand requirements are handled with ease. I started with v1.7.8 in 2014, having used early DOORS versions before that. All feature requests and bug reports have been received with enthusiasm by the technical support team and responded to promptly. I feel privileged to have contributed to its development. The spreadsheet-style presentation of data helps to make the user interface intuitive. Editing single requirements and sets is straightforward with useful bulk operations. For requirements analysis, maximum use is made of selectable field types for easy manipulation and review.”

Richard CurtisRMsis customer
RMsis

“Great product and great support...! We wanted a JIRA integrated requirements management tool that provided traceability and reporting throughout the development and test cycle and RMsis gave us exactly what we wanted. Some might think the UI is a bit 'spreadsheety', but in our organisation, this was actually a benefit providing familiarity for our users to begin using it with. We have made good use of the API and now have our automated tests updating RMsis giving us complete lifecycle tracking. Also for us, the fact it uses it own standalone database and doesn't follow the standard JIRA user license model, made procurement in a large organisation like ours much easier. We intend to use it on more projects in the near future.... Well done team, keep up the good work..!”

Simon OfficerRMsis customer
RMsis

“simply a great plugin + requirements great - even larger amounts (2000+) are handled smoothly + requirements great - create your own custom fields + quality great - I have not found a bug after two month + support wonderful - quick reply with all information, no email ping pong with typical nonsense questions - downside, more rich text options in requirement explanation would be great - downside, test cases have potential (link to versions and input) Great plugin, I would recommend it”

lesswire GmbHRMsis customer
RMsis

“I love this plugin. Installation is very easy, configuration is so simple and traceability is now well done with requirements, issue and test case. Some things are missed yet but Optimizory Technologies is very open and they answer everytime I suggested a feature, an improvement or a bug...and it's so nice to see our suggestions in a release.”

Mickael ThieventRMsis customer

“Really nice product - especially like the reports on the project page.”

FAQ

SyncBridge is a Jira Cloud app that links Jira work items to Salesforce records and keeps them in sync. When a linked Jira work item changes, the mapped fields push to Salesforce automatically within seconds. Read the SyncBridge documentation.

Any Salesforce object your connection can access, such as Case, Lead, Contact, Opportunity or Account. Inside a binding, you map each Jira work item type to the Salesforce object it should sync with. See Entity Mappings.

Auto-Push listens for Jira's work-item-updated event through Atlassian Forge triggers. When a mapped field changes, SyncBridge updates the linked Salesforce record, typically within seconds. There is no polling, cron job or webhook to configure. Auto-Push is on by default and can be switched off per binding or for a single linked record. See Auto-Push on issue update.

Yes, with Auto-Create. When a new work item's type matches an entity mapping and no Salesforce record is linked yet, SyncBridge creates the record and links it. Auto-Create is off by default. See Auto-Create Salesforce records.

Yes. Each field mapping has a direction: Jira → Salesforce, Salesforce → Jira, or bidirectional. Use Pull in the issue panel to bring the latest Salesforce values into Jira. See Field Mappings and Manually pulling from Salesforce.

A Salesforce admin creates an External Client App with the OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials flow and the api and refresh_token scopes, then copies the Client ID, Client Secret and instance URL into SyncBridge. We recommend a dedicated integration user as the Run As user. See Salesforce Connected App Setup.

Yes. Create one connection per Salesforce org; each connection can be used by any number of Jira project bindings. See Connections.

SyncBridge runs on Atlassian Forge, so no data passes through servers operated by Optimizory. Connection settings and mappings are stored in Forge storage, credentials in Forge's encrypted secret storage, and links on Jira work item properties, all in the same region as your Atlassian site. Outbound calls go only to Salesforce domains. See Data handling and security.

Access tokens refresh automatically. If a refresh fails (for example, because the Connected App was changed), the connection shows Expired; a Jira admin clicks Reconnect, and no credentials need to be re-entered. See Testing and reconnecting.

No. SyncBridge is built for Jira Cloud on Atlassian Forge. See Installation.

SyncBridge is free for up to 10 users. Above that it is billed per user through Atlassian, starting at $0.82 per user per month, and gets cheaper as your team grows. Every team size gets a 30-day free trial. See the pricing section.
