Deleting a Connection

Deleting a Connection

Deleting a connection removes it and all bindings associated with it. This action cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete a connection:

  • The connection record is removed, including all stored credentials

  • All bindings that use this connection are deleted

  • All entity mappings, field mappings, and value mappings inside those bindings are deleted

  • Existing issue associations (links between Jira issues and Salesforce records) are not deleted — they remain on the issue but will no longer sync

If you want to preserve your bindings and switch them to a different Salesforce org, there is no direct migration path in V1 — you would need to recreate the bindings manually against a new connection.

Steps

  1. In the Connections tab, click on the connection you want to delete.

  2. Click Delete Connection.

  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Before You Delete

Consider testing the connection first — if the issue is an expired token, reconnecting may be sufficient without losing your bindings.
