Dashboard Overview

Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is your command center for contract execution. It surfaces five real-time KPI cards, a cycle-time chart, a bottleneck signers panel, a needs-attention table, and a recent-activity feed — giving you an immediate read on the health of your signing pipeline.

Accessing the Dashboard

Select E-SignSeal in the Jira top navigation bar. The Dashboard is the default landing page. You can also navigate directly to it by selecting Dashboard in the E-SignSeal sidebar.

The Dashboard is accessible to Workspace Admins, Template Managers, and Senders. Signers who only have the Signer role do not see the Dashboard.

KPI cards

The five cards at the top of the Dashboard provide a snapshot of your workspace's contract health.

Card

What it measures

Active contracts

Number of contracts currently in In progress status

Completed (90 days)

Number of contracts completed in the last 90 days

Median cycle time

Median number of days from send to completion across all completed contracts in the last 90 days

Expiring ≤ 3 days

Number of in-progress contracts whose expiry date is within the next 3 days

Declined

Number of contracts declined in the last 90 days

Each card is a number with a label. Cards showing a count of zero display in a neutral style; cards with actionable counts (expiring soon, declined) are highlighted to draw attention.

Cycle-time bar chart

Below the KPI cards, the Cycle Time by Template chart shows the average time from send to completion broken down by template. Each bar represents one template, and the bar height represents the average days-to-sign across all contracts from that template in the last 90 days.

Use this chart to identify which contract types are slowest to execute. If the Enterprise Services Agreement bar is consistently higher than Mutual NDA — Standard, you may need to investigate whether the terms, the length, or the signer profile is causing delays.

Bottleneck signers panel

The Bottleneck Signers panel lists the Jira users who have the most contracts awaiting their signature at this moment. Each row shows:

  • Signer name and avatar

  • Number of contracts pending their signature

  • Oldest pending contract (days waiting)

This panel is useful for identifying individuals who are consistently holding up contract execution. If the same person appears in the panel repeatedly, consider discussing workload or delegation options with their manager.

Needs-attention table

The Needs Attention table highlights contracts that require action now:

Row type

Condition

Expiring soon

In-progress contracts expiring within 3 days

Stuck

In-progress contracts where a signer has been pending for more than 48 hours

Declined

Contracts declined within the last 7 days

Each row shows the contract title, linked issue, relevant signer, and a direct link to the contract detail. Select any row to navigate to the full contract detail where you can send reminders or take other action.

Recent activity feed

The Recent Activity feed shows the most recent signing events across all contracts you have permission to see, in reverse chronological order. Events include:

  • Contract sent

  • Signature received (showing which signer)

  • Contract completed

  • Contract declined

  • Contract voided

  • Contract expired

The feed updates automatically without requiring a page refresh.

Your turn to sign banner

If you have any contracts awaiting your own signature, a banner appears at the top of the Dashboard:

You have [N] contract(s) waiting for your signature. — Sign now →

Selecting Sign now opens the first pending signing session directly.
